New roof 2009: Timberline Cool Color shingles

Andersen windows throughout home
Installed 2009: Anderson 400 Series windows and throughout the home. Windows have Andersen High-Performance Low-E4 Glass.
Roll up storm shutters on every window
Every windows in the house is protected by roll up storm shutters. Bedrooms and family room shutters are controlled by a switch inside each room for easy up and down.
Foam insulation in exterior walls and attic
As of 2009, all exterior walls contain foam insulation.
In June 2012 foam insulation was installed in the attic. This greatly reduced the air temperature in the attic which allowed the air conditioner to run more efficiently and reduce energy usage even more.
